In June of 2021, members of Kol HaNeshama began an ambitious effort to create tapestries for the sanctuary. The theme of these two tapestries was “The Song of Our/My Soul.” Thirteen member artists created one or more blocks for the tapestries. Each communicated visually and in an accompanying statement, something meaningful to them, something that ignited them, something they wanted to share with our community.
One of the most exciting projects to come out of COVID-19 restrictions was a virtual art show with submissions from over 40 of our members. Within our community we have fine artists, crafters, photographers, poets, liturgists, calligraphers, and paper cutters. We love to see their work and they love to share it.
