Shabbat in Members’ Homes

This popular event brings together groups of six or more members to share in the planning, preparation and carrying out of a Shabbat dinner.

Hosts are responsible for providing the main course (usually fish), and each guest takes a role in rounding out the dinner.  KH provides pamphlets to guide hosts in the carrying out of rituals according to the wishes of each individual group.

“These twice annual dinners are a treat for all who host or attend,” said committee chair Diane Baum, “and they provide a wonderful opportunity for creating new friendships within our KH family.”
