Classes meet for four sessions to explore the history, traditions, meaning, and modern interpretations of the Mourner’s Kaddish. Rabbi Melissa will guide participants in learning about the meaning of the words and share interpretive poetry and liturgy from Rabbi Levi Yitzhaq of Berditchev to Marge Piercy.
Rabbi Melissa Starr Wenig has been a teacher for many years. She authored ‘In the River of Grief and Release.’ She was ordained as a rabbi by the ALEPH Rabbinic Seminary.
