Shabbat Purim

Celebrating Purim this year will be a delightful, boisterous experience at Congregation Kol HaNeshama. We will read from the Megillah, shake our groggers, and nosh on hamentashen.

Let’s dress in holiday costumes and be silly for the night.

This year we ask that you prepare by putting your creative cap on to think about what you would like to “dress as” for Purim and how you can only minimally represent it in your costume. Do not fully dress up for the part, just creatively represent an idea, a person or a thing with a small hint of what it is. When we are together we will play a guessing game.

We will start later than usual, at 7 PM, to allow you to have dinner and join us for Shabbat Purim with songs, Megillah reading, fun, costumes and hamentashens. BYOB – Bring your own drink, wine, liquor or lemonade.
