 ng the last few years\, I have come to realize the importance of Jews in a
 rchitecture. Many of the most important works of modern architecture have 
 been built for or designed by Jews.\n\nI went to architectural school and 
 became an architect in the 1960’s. The architects I will talk about cros
 sed my path and affected my life in some way. All were visionaries and cha
 nged the direction of\narchitecture.\n\nI don’t have an answer if Jewish
  architects are different from other architects. The one thing I see is th
 at they were able to reinvent themselves.\n\nAaron Rand: Aaron attended Pr
 att Institute 1959-1961.\n\nGraduated from City College of New York\, B.S\
 , and B.Arch.\n\nFive years’ experience working on commercial and instit
 utional architecture for several architects. Licensed to practice architec
 ture New York State. Taught at Dutchess Community College for 30 years\, R
 etired as Professor and Chairman of the Architecture and Construction Tech
 nologies program. In private architectural practice for over 30 years desi
 gning and constructing energy efficient and passive solar residences.\n\nT
