  have come to realize the importance of Jews in architecture. Many of the 
 most important works of modern architecture have been built for or designe
 d by Jews.\n\nI went to architectural school and became an architect in th
 e 1960’s. The architects I will talk about crossed my path and affected 
 my life in some way. All were visionaries and changed the direction of\nar
 chitecture.\n\nI don’t have an answer if Jewish architects are different
  from other architects. The one thing I see is that they were able to rein
 vent themselves.\n\nAaron Rand: Aaron attended Pratt Institute 1959-1961.\
 n\nGraduated from City College of New York\, B.S\, and B.Arch.\n\nFive yea
 rs’ experience working on commercial and institutional architecture for 
 several architects. Licensed to practice architecture New York State. Taug
 ht at Dutchess Community College for 30 years\, Retired as Professor and C
 hairman of the Architecture and Construction Technologies program. In priv
 ate architectural practice for over 30 years designing and constructing en
